An Eye for Space, Warmth, and Timeless Indian Aesthetics
Nandika Decor was founded by Neetu Chawla out of a deep personal passion for home aesthetics. With a Bachelor of Science from Allahabad University and formal training in Interior Design, Neetu has always possessed an intuitive understanding of how spaces influence emotions, family life, and everyday well-being.
Living in Ayodhya, she grew up surrounded by the rich spiritual, architectural, and artisanal heritage of northern India. Yet, she noticed that finding genuine, well-crafted home accents that felt both culturally grounded and refreshingly modern was surprisingly hard. Most market options were either flimsy mass-produced plastic or exorbitantly priced showroom items out of reach for regular celebrations.
Neetu set out to change that. She started curating pieces she would proudly display in her own home: solid cast-brass urlis that hold fresh marigolds, delicate gold-rimmed crockery for Sunday high tea, thoughtfully assembled festive gift hampers, and waterproof, anti-tarnish daily wear jewellery that modern women can wear without fuss.
From Exhibition Pop-Ups to Homes Nationwide
Nandika Decor wasn't built in corporate boardrooms. It was built through face-to-face conversations at community melas and festive pop-up stalls in Ayodhya.
The Festive Melas
Whether during the festive Sawan Melas, pre-Diwali exhibitions, Dussehra bazaars, or winter cultural fairs, Neetu personally displayed hand-curated pieces. Patrons loved inspecting the weighty brass, testing the fine porcelain, and picking unique gift items.
Direct Patron Trust
Families returning year after year seeking recommendations for housewarming gifts, wedding favors, and temple corners proved that honest curation and warm relationships matter far more than flashy marketing.
Bringing the Atelier Online
As word spread beyond Ayodhya to Lucknow, Delhi, and beyond, this digital portfolio was born — giving patrons everywhere direct access to Neetu's latest curations and one-on-one WhatsApp concierge assistance.
